Robert Damigella - Managing Director

Robert Damigella is founder of AmericaVest Capital, LLC and also serves as Senior Director Capital Markets with Marcus and Millichap Capital Corporation in Boston, MA. He has more than 25 years of experience in finance and real estate, including private equity investing, portfolio management, structured products, transaction structuring, valuation and debt and equity placement. His focus is on Real Estate & Mortgage related financing throughout New England centered largely on greater Boston.

Mr. Damigella has successfully secured financing for various Commercial Real Estate property types including mixed use, retail, professional office, medical office, multifamily, ground up and value add construction financing, NNN and more. Throughout his career he has transacted in more than $2Billion in real estate, real estate debt, and debt related instruments 

AmericaVest Group of Companies was founded in 2007 as a real estate and real estate finance firm with a focus on alternative private equity funds and residential and CRE mortgage related investing.  AmericaVest CRE Mortgage Funding Trust (REIT) a company focused on bridge, mezzanine, and preferred equity CRE lending was acquired by a public company in 2014.

Earlier in his career, he worked in senior roles with various Wall Street firms including the role of Senior Vice President with Lehman Brothers for nearly a decade, working on a variety of significant CRE transactions including Rockefeller Center Properties in New York City.

Robert is a prolific writer and has authored various articles for finance, real estate, and mortgage-related periodicals, including WallStreet.com. He earned an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and a BS from Bentley University Boston, MA.
